The coffee capital of the world; Bujumbura is the city which ships the most amount of coffee produced in the country of Burundi. This city is the capital and port city of Burundi. Other than coffee much of the world's cotton also comes from Bujumbura. Located on the north eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika, Bujumbura is an idyllic tourist destination as well. The climate is generally mild with warm summers.
The city has so many great sites to see. The Kibira national park and the Rusizi National park are amongst the biggest attractions of the city.
